I am assuming everyone knows what a parasitic twin is...Just so you know, I didnt really have one.
That being said, at the age of 41, I got my first absess.
YUCK-PUKE-GAG!!!! The darn thing was on the back of my neck.
The bad thing was, it really kicked my butt!!! It might as well have been a parasitic twin, cause God knows it felt like it was sucking the life outta me!!
I actually thought it was a spider bite and let it go for a while, then I got feeling sick and had my SIL Brandi take me to the hospital. We waited in the ER waiting room for over 3 1/2 hours. Before I got seen by the doctor I was frustrated with the wait and my back was killing me and I said to Brandi that we should just go to a pharmacy and get some cream for it. Brandi asked me what it looked like and I told her I dont know, I dont have eyes in the back of my head. She took a look and told me I was staying.
So when I got a room and the doc starting putting the gloves on she had the biggest needle and so I told her I would just hold onto the side of the bed and she could just skip the needle and cut it open. Yes, I let a doctor cut a hole in me WITHOUT anesthesia. That was a BIG FREAKING NEEDLE!!!!
Anyway, I am feeling better now and hopefully I never have another one of those gross things.

ok....so there was a dresser drawer that had fallen apart. unfortunately it was made out of what I call "paper board".
So after gluing it back together, I realized that there was a spot where the staples weren't hittin anything cause of the paper board being broke there. Well I got some newpaper and glue and papermacheted the hole in the board. worked pretty well.....

My neice Kenzie came and got me cause there was 3 peices of a candycane in the toilet. I had to get a gallon size ziplock bag and use it as a glove to get the peices out. I managed not to touch the nasty toilet water....ziplock bags are great when you dont have rubber gloves.lol

Years ago, my husband Wayne had a race car. It was a Gran Torino that he raced at Wall Dragway when we were stationed in Texas. (we are retired military). One day I had some friends come over. While the kids were out in the back yard playing and Wayne was in the garage tinkering with his car and doing transmission work I was inside visiting with my friends. Suddenly the kids run in the house screaming, "mom, the car fell on dad and he is hurt real bad.". I go out to the garage and find Wayne stuck under the car with the transmission (bell housing too) on  him and he was unable to lift it. I had to crawl under the car and help him move the bell housing and transmission thingy off and bolt it into place.
So after that accident I decided it might be a good idea to be WITH him when he is working...LOL

I read this book called BLUE by Lou Aranica and at odd moments I think about it. The book is about how a girl with leukemia and how her father and her create a world of make believe. Later her parents get divorced and she stops making up stories with her father about this world called Tamarisk. She becomes sick with cancer again and discovers the world of Tamarish exists and together with her father try and fix a problem with their imaginary world.
Truly a must read!!!!

I want to give a BIG KUDOS to my SIL Brandy for setting up this blog for me. She has been great, worked very hard and knows her stuff!!!! She is helping me out with blogging.  :-)

I woke up this morning feeling stuffy like I had been crying in my sleep. Last night I stept in the living  room on one couch and  my neices slept on the other one. When the girls woke up they were making fun of me saying how loudly I snore. They then told me I was crying for my hubby in my sleep......mystery solved, I was just missing Wayne.
So I emailed my hubby and told him about the mystery and he emailed my back and told me not to eat the pillow in my sleep thinking its a marshmallow.......love that crazy man!!
